I remember seeking therapy and my ex joining me to help my therapist ‘get it right’. He threw him out and that was my last session. Years later we attended marriage counseling and the same happened. The therapist asked me why I would I want to work out how to stay with him. After that he told me that we’d work things out in the pub as the best way. I was so sleep deprived I didn’t know what was going on. I only started to wake up when he was jailed and I got some rest.
